Scheduling Window Settings

The Scheduling Window Settings allow you to manage how and when appointments can be booked, canceled, and confirmed by your customers. This section includes multiple configuration options that give you full control over the booking timeline and experience.

1. Minimum Notice

  • Defines how early a customer can view and book a slot before the appointment date.

  • Example: If the event is on 25th, and you set the minimum notice to 2 days, then customers will only be able to see and book the slot starting from the 23rd.

  • Before that, the slot will not be visible or bookable.

2. Maximum Notice

  • Controls how far in advance customers can book appointments.

  • You can select options like:

    • 1 Day

    • 2 Days

    • 1 Week

    • 1 Month, etc.

  • This helps prevent bookings too far in the future.

3. Cancel Notice Period

  • Sets the window during which customers are allowed to cancel their appointment.

  • For example, you can allow cancellation up to 1 day before the appointment date.

4. Automatically Cancel if Not Checked-in

  • Automatically cancels the booking if the customer does not check in within the defined time after the scheduled start time.

  • Helps manage no-shows and frees up the slot for others.

5. Week Start Day

  • Choose which day the week starts on your booking calendar.

  • For example, you can select Monday or Sunday as the first day of the week.

6. Request Acceptance Mode

  • Choose how bookings should be confirmed:

    • Automatic: Booking is instantly confirmed.

    • Manual: Admin/staff manually approves each booking request.

7. Booking Reminder

  • Enable reminders to notify customers about their upcoming appointments.

  • You can set when the reminder should be sent (e.g., 1 day before, 2 hours before).

8. Booking Heading Text

  • Add a custom heading at the top of the booking form.

  • Example: “Schedule Your Visit” or “Book Your Appointment Below”.

9. Convert Appointment Input Placeholder

  • This is a placeholder text shown inside the input field when a customer checks in using an appointment.

  • Example: “Enter your Booking ID or Phone Number”.

10. Booking Convert Label

  • Sets the label/title of the field used for entering the booking ID during check-in.

  • Example: “Booking Reference” or “Appointment Code”.

11. Walk-In Label

  • Customize the label shown for walk-in check-ins.

  • Example: Change it from “Walk-In” to “Instant Visit” or “Guest Entry” based on your brand tone.

12. Appointment Label

  • Change the term “Appointment” to something else like “Booking”, “Visit”, or “Consultation” depending on your service type.

13. Booking Sidebar Heading

  • This heading appears in the sidebar of the online booking page, next to the available time slots.

  • Use it to display important info or tips, such as “Select a time slot to proceed”.

After configuring all the scheduling window settings, make sure to click on the Save button to apply your changes successfully.
