Counter Guide

A counter in Qwaiting refers to a service point where staff members attend to customers. It could be a physical desk, service window, office room, or any location where a specific service is provided.

How to Set Up Counters:

  1. Go to the Qwaiting admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Counters

  3. Click Add Counter

  4. Enter the Counter Name and set location .

  5. Click Save.

Who is a Staff Member in QWaiting?

A staff member is anyone who helps manage queues and serve customers—such as receptionists, doctors, service agents, or tellers. They can log in to QWaiting and handle tokens based on their assigned role and permissions.

How to Add Staff:

  1. Login to the QWaiting Admin Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Staff > Add Staff.

  3. Fill in the staff details:

    • Full Name

    • Username (used to log in)

    • Email ID

    • Password

    • Mobile Number (optional)

  4. Select the appropriate Role:

    • Admin – Full access to all settings and reports

    • Manager – Can manage services, counters, and view reports

    • Staff Can call, serve, and complete tokens only

  5. (Optional) Assign the Counter or Area the staff will manage.

  6. Click Save.

Once added, the staff member can log in using the credentials you created and access the features based on their role.
