Location Hours in Qwaiting
Setting location hours is essential to manage when customers can generate tickets or book services at your business. In Qwaiting, there are two main ways to set location hours:
By Ticket
Ticket hours control the overall time range when tickets can be issued.
To configure this:
Go to Settings → Ticket Screen Settings.
Edit the operating hours as needed.
This allows you to decide the exact time window during which customers can generate tickets for your services.
By Category
If your business offers multiple categories or services, you might want to set specific hours for each one.
You can define separate operating hours for each category.
This gives you flexibility, for example, if certain services are only available in the morning or afternoon.
You can also decide which slots customers can book tickets for each category.
How to Choose Between Ticket and Category
To configure whether you want to manage hours by ticket or by category:
Go to Ticket Settings → General Settings.
Look for the option Enable Time Slot.
Here, you can choose whether time slots should be controlled by ticket (same hours for all services) or by category (different hours per service).
This setup helps your business align operating hours more closely with service needs and manage customer flow efficiently.
