The Summary tab provides a comprehensive snapshot of daily activity and overall queue performance. It helps managers and staff quickly understand visitor flow, service efficiency, and operational trends at a glance.

  1. Date Filter

At the top of the Summary tab, you’ll find a date selection tool that allows you to:

  • Select any specific date to view that day’s activity

  • Easily switch between dates to compare performance over time

This flexibility makes it simple to review daily operations and spot trends.

2. Key Metrics

Below the date filter, the dashboard displays four essential performance counters:

  • Total Visits – The total number of visitors who checked in

  • Served Visits – The number of visitors who were successfully served

  • Cancelled Visits – Tickets or appointments that were canceled

  • Waiting – The current number of visitors still waiting in the queue

These metrics provide an instant overview of customer flow and service status for the selected day.

3. Graphs & Charts

To make insights easier to understand, the Summary tab includes visual representations of your data:

  • Hourly Visits Graph
Shows visitor flow hour by hour for the selected day, helping identify peak and off-peak times.

  • Monthly Visits Graph
Displays total visits month by month, allowing you to track long-term trends and seasonal patterns.

4. Serving & Waiting Times

The dashboard also highlights key timing metrics that reflect service efficiency:

  • Average Serving Time – The average time an agent spends serving each visitor

  • Average Waiting Time – The average time visitors wait before being served

  • Max Waiting Time – The longest waiting time recorded during the selected period

  • Max Served Time – The longest service time for any individual visitor

These metrics help managers evaluate performance and identify opportunities to reduce wait times.

5. Detailed Performance Graphs

At the bottom of the Summary tab, additional graphs provide deeper operational insights:

  • Counter Visits – Number of visits handled by each counter or desk

  • Service Visits – Visits grouped by service categories

  • Agent Served Visits – Number of visitors served by each agent

These visualizations help determine which counters, services, or agents are the busiest or most efficient.

The Qwaiting Dashboard combines real-time data, visual analytics, and historical insights to help businesses:

  • Improve service delivery

  • Optimize staff allocation

  • Quickly identify and resolve operational bottlenecks

With this all-in-one view, managers can make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance efficiency and deliver a better customer experience.
