The Print Setting is one of the core customizations options that allows businesses to control how tickets are printed, displayed, and managed. With multiple flexible options, this setting ensures that tickets are generated according to your organization’s specific requirements.

1. Enable/Disable Print Options (Print Redirect / Kiosk)

This option decides how a ticket is printed and how the screen behaves after printing.

Default Mode – When selected, the system will display two options: Print and Cancel.

  • If the user clicks Print, the ticket will be printed.

  • If the user clicks Cancel, the system will return to the main screen.

Silent Mode – In this mode, the ticket is printed automatically without showing the Print or Cancel options. The ticket will appear on the screen for reference, and once it is printed, the system redirects the screen back to the main screen automatically.

This flexibility helps organizations decide whether to give customers a choice before printing or to keep the process completely automated.

2. Tick Mark Options

Several checkboxes (tick mark options) are available to further customize what appears on the ticket.

  • Show QR Code on Ticket Screen – Displays a QR code on the first screen, allowing customers to generate their ticket by scanning the code.

  • Show QR Code on Ticket Preview – Displays a QR code on the printed ticket. Customers can scan it to view their ticket number and track live updates on their phone. The ticket status automatically changes in real-time.

  • Show Logo on Ticket Print – Adds the organization’s logo to the printed ticket for branding purposes.

  • Show User Name on Ticket Print – If the customer’s name is captured in the form, this option ensures the name is displayed on the ticket.

  • Show Service on Ticket Print – Displays the service selected by the customer on the printed ticket.

  • Show Location on Ticket Print – Prints the branch/location information on the ticket.

  • Show Arrived Date and Time on Ticket Print – Displays the exact date and time the ticket was generated.

  • Show Token on Ticket Print – Ensures the token number is printed on the ticket, which is essential for queue management.

  • Disable Print – If enabled, the system will not print the ticket but will only display the ticket on the screen. This option is useful in scenarios where printing is not required.

Why Print Settings are Important

  • Improves flexibility – Businesses can choose between manual or automatic printing.

  • Enhances customer convenience – With QR codes, customers can track tickets directly from their phones.

  • Supports branding – Adding logos and custom details ensures tickets reflect the company’s identity.

  • Increases efficiency – Silent print mode speeds up the process in high-traffic environments.

  • Reduces waste – Disable print option helps in saving paper where physical tickets are unnecessary.

The Print Setting empowers organizations to customize ticket printing in a way that balances convenience, efficiency, and professionalism. Whether it’s showing QR codes, branding elements, or choosing between manual and silent printing, these options give full control over how tickets are generated and presented to customers.
