Cloud-Based Operation
In the standard cloud-based setup, Qwaiting requires an active internet connection to support:
Real-time queue updates across all devices
Public display screen synchronization
Mobile, QR-based, and remote registrations
SMS, WhatsApp, and other notification delivery
Centralized reporting and analytics
With an internet connection, all system components remain fully synchronized, ensuring a smooth experience for both staff and customers.
On-Premises / Local Network Deployment
In an on-premises or local network setup, Qwaiting can continue to operate without an active internet connection. Core queue operations such as token generation, counter calling, and public display updates will continue to function within the local network.
Note: The following features require an active internet connection and will be unavailable during an outage:
Online booking and remote registrations
SMS and WhatsApp notifications
Once the internet connection is restored, these services can resume as per configuration.
