In the Qwaiting system, administrators can configure the starting token number based on operational requirements. This feature is useful when you want to continue numbering from a specific value, maintain branch-wise numbering, or avoid duplicate sequences.

Steps to change the token number start value:

Step 1 : Open Dashboard

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings.

Step 2 : Open Ticket Screen Settings

  1. Inside Settings, go to Ticket Screen Settings.

  2. Open General Settings.

Step 3 : Configure Display Info Settings

  1. Locate Display & Display Info Settings.

  2. Find the option Token Number Start From.

Step 4 : Enter the starting value

  • Enter the number from which you want tokens to begin.

  • Example:

    • If you want tokens to start from 5000, enter 5001.

    • If you want tokens to start from 1000, enter 1001.

The system automatically generates the token starting with the entered value.

Step 5 : Save changes

  1. Click Save.

  2. Now generate a new ticket to verify the change.

Changing the token number start value is a simple configuration that helps maintain numbering continuity and operational clarity. By updating the Token Number Start From field and saving the settings, the system automatically generates the next ticket based on the configured value.
