How to Configure Reminder Message Timing

In Qwaiting, you can configure reminder messages so customers are notified before their turn is called. This helps reduce missed calls and improves queue efficiency.

What is SMS Reminder Before Call?

The SMS Reminder Before Each Call feature sends a notification to customers when their turn is approaching.

Instead of sending a reminder based on hours, this setting works based on queue position meaning how many people are ahead in the queue.

Steps to Configure SMS Reminder

Step 1 : Open Admin Panel

  1. Log in to the Admin Dashboard.

  2. On the left-hand side, click on your Profile Picture.

Step 2 : Open Profile Settings

  1. Click Profile from the dropdown menu.

  2. Scroll to find the option SMS Reminder Before Each Call.

Step 3 : Set Reminder Value

  1. Enter a number in the reminder field.

    • Example: Enter 2

  2. Save the changes.

How it Works (Example)

If you set the value to 2:

  • When there are 2 customers ahead in the queue

  • The system automatically sends a reminder message

  • The message informs the customer that their turn is coming soon

This helps the customer be prepared before their token number is called.

Important Notes

  • The reminder is based on queue position, not hours.

  • The feature works only if SMS configuration is active.

  • Ensure correct customer mobile numbers are captured.

  • Always click Save after updating the value.
