In Qwaiting, administrators can upload and display local videos on queue screens for announcements, branding, advertisements, or informational content.
Why use local videos
Local videos can be used for:
Promotional content
Awareness messages
Service instructions
Hospital or business branding
Queue entertainment for waiting customers
Step 1 : Open Screen Template Settings
Log in to the Admin Panel
Navigate to Settings
Open Screen Template Settings
Step 2 : Create a new template
Click Add New Template
Enter the Screen Name
Example: Local Videos
Select the Template Type
Counter template β For counter call announcements
Service template β For service-level announcements
Choose the template type based on your display requirement.
Step 3 : Select Local Video Template
Inside template settings, choose Local Videos.
Select the counters where videos should be displayed.
Configure voice announcement settings (optional)
Choose language
Enable speech announcement if needed
Click Save.
Step 4 : Open display screen
Go to Public Links.
Open Display Links.
Launch the display screen using the newly created template.
Step 5 : Add local videos
On the display screen, click the top-left arrow.
Click the small round black + button.
Upload and add your local video.
The video will now be added to the display.
Add multiple videos
To add more videos:
Click the black + button again.
Upload additional videos.
Repeat as needed.
Step 6 : Delete a video
To remove a video:
Click on the big plus button.
Use the delete option available.
Confirm deletion.
By creating a screen template, selecting the local video option, and uploading videos from the display screen, administrators can easily showcase multiple local videos across queue displays.
