Overview:
The Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) module provides an additional layer of security for user accounts. When enabled, users must verify their identity using a one-time verification code generated by the Microsoft Authenticator app each time they log in.
Key Features:
Enable or disable Two-Factor Authentication.
Uses the Microsoft Authenticator app for secure verification.
Requires a one-time authentication code during login.
Protects user accounts from unauthorized access, even if the password is compromised.
Displays the current 2FA status (Enabled/Disabled).
Purpose:
To enhance account security by requiring both the user's password and a time-based verification code before granting access to the system.
How to enable the integration?
To get started with the Two Factor Authentication, you will need to enable the integration on account.
Navigate to Profile and Click.
2. Navigate to Two Factor Authentication and enable the features.
3. Scan with the Microsoft Authenticator.
4. Enter the code.
5. Click on verify - Enable 2FA, Redirect to Dashboard.
6. Now, whenever you log in to your account, a one-time password (OTP) will be generated in your authenticator app.
