Multiple Ring Notifications – Why It Happens & How to Fix It

If you are hearing multiple ring notifications for a single ticket, this is usually caused by opening the same screen in multiple browser tabs on the same device.

Why Does This Happen?

When multiple tabs of the Call Screen or Display Screen are open, each tab triggers its own notification sound. This results in repeated ringing for the same action, which can cause confusion.

How to Fix It

Follow these simple steps to avoid multiple ring notifications:

  • Open only one tab for the Call Screen

  • Open only one tab for the Display Screen

  • Close any duplicate or extra tabs running the same screen

Optional: Disable Sound

If you prefer not to hear any notification sounds, you can disable them from the system settings. Please refer to the How to disable sound for steps to turn off notifications.
