In Qwaiting, businesses have the flexibility to send automated messages to customers at different stages of the booking process. These messages ensure that customers stay informed and engaged, and they can be fully customized based on your business’s communication preferences.

Types of Booking Messages

We support a variety of booking-related notifications that can be sent to customers, including:

  • Booking Confirmation – Sent when a booking is successfully completed.

  • Booking Reschedule Notification – Sent when a booking is rescheduled.

  • Booking Cancellation – Sent when a booking is cancelled.

  • Reminder Messages – Sent before the appointment time to remind the customer.

How It Works

The delivery of these messages depends on the communication channel activated by your business. Supported channels include SMS, WhatsApp, and Email.

Once the booking is made or updated, the relevant messages are automatically triggered based on the event (confirmation, reschedule, cancellation, reminder).

How to Configure Booking Messages

To set up and customize these messages, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings in the admin panel.

  2. Navigate to Notification Settings.

  3. Select the desired Communication Channel (SMS, WhatsApp, or Email).

  4. Choose the Template Setting section.

  5. In the Template Options, pick the type of message you want to configure (e.g., Booking Confirmed, Booking Reminder, etc.).

  6. In the Message Body, you can add your custom text.

    • Use available variables (like {customer_name}, {booking_time}, etc.) to personalize the message.

  7. Click Save to apply your changes.

Once this setup is complete, all booking-related messages will be automatically sent to the customer based on the selected event type. This ensures clear communication whether the booking is confirmed, changed, cancelled, or approaching.
